Pope Francis stumbled and fell during a prayer ceremony at World Youth Day in Poland on Thursday.
The pontiff was walking past the altar at the beginning of the event, when he was seen to partially collapse to the ground before being assisted to his feet by fellow clergy.
The 79 year old recovered quickly and continued on with the rest of the ceremony, also delivered a speech later on.
Pope Francis is on a five-day trip to Czesto-chowa, southern Poland.
