Former militants deny rumors of regrouping to challenge FG

Former leaders of the Niger Delta militants have discharged rumours that they are regrouping to challenge President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
For the leaders, the only way to attract investment into Nigeria is by ensuring a violent free environment.
Insinuations that the Buhari administration’s anti-corruption war was targeted at indigenes of the Ijaw nation was debunked by The Chairman of the Egbema/Gbaramatu Youth Forum, Mr Michael Bubor.
Amid other requests, he also begged with the Federal Government to extend the amnesty program to prevent the rebirth of militancy in the Niger Delta region.
