Top South-African comedian, Trevor Noah has beaten Nigerian Comedian, Basketmouth and British actor, Idris Elba to host the 2016 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) which is slated to hold in Johannesburg, South-Africa.
The Comedy Central’s ‘The Daily Show’ host will anchor the live two-hour telecast at the Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg on October 22, 2016. The show will feature performances from African stars including Alikiba, Babes Woduma, Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, Ycee and Yemi Alade.
