Nigeria’s economic hardship will soon end : President Buhari



Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the economic hardship Nigerians are experiencing will soon be over. The President said the country is almost out of its security problem,hence the economic challenges will end soon.
He spoke in Benin City, the Edo State capital, at a mega rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of Saturday’s governorship election in the south-southern state.

“I assure you that we are going to get out of our economic problems.
“We are almost out of our security problem and we are going to make Nigeria great again.

We are going to be very proud of our country once again. Our size, our resources will not be for nothing. We will continue to grow,” President Buhari said.

Figures released on August 31st by the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics showed that the country is officially in recession for the first time in more than a decade.
Its vital oil industry has been hit by weaker global prices but the government says there has been strong growth in other sectors.
