The Nigeria Football Federation Technical Committee has recommended the appointment of former Burkina Faso and Gabon coach, Gernot Rohr as Nigeria’s next coach.
Rohr, who is already in the country, interacted with the committee, and his recommendation is now expected to be approved by the executive committee in the new week.
The Franco-German will be assisted by chief coach, Salisu Yusuf.
His first task will be a dead runner 2017 AFCON qualifier next month at home to Tanzania, before a 2018 World Cup qualifier in Zambia in October.
