Japan pledges $30 bln for infrastructure development in Africa



Japan has pledged a 30 billion dollars investment to Africa made up of infrastructure financing and human resource development.According to authorities, ten million people will benefit from this investment over the next 3 years.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announced the package, during the opening of the 6th Tokyo International Conference on African Development, in the Kenyan capital Nairobi on Saturday.

The conference, which attracted more than 30 African heads of state and over 10,000 delegates, will now be held after every 3 years.
