Keshi’s son slams Nigerian govt. over unfulfilled promise

Former Captain and Coach of Nigeria, Stephen Keshi, has been buried in his village in Ilah, Delta state.
It was not the state funeral the Federal Government promised.
Keshi’s family and Delta State were left to organise the funeral with a number of events from Thursday.
Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung had said the government chose a low-key funeral because Keshi left a family that has to be catered for.

But Keshi’s son, Femi, has taken a swipe at the government for failing to fulfill its promise of a state burial for his father.
Keshi made history in 2013, when he became only the second manager after Mahmoud El Gohary of Egypt to win the Africa Cup of Nations both as a player and a coach.
