Nnamdi Kanu sneaks to host his transmitters on MTN mask




The Federal Government has accused Mr Nnamdi Kanu and his group of hosting their Transmitters on MTN mask in Enugu and Anambra States in its bid to seccede from Nigeria. The Federal Government has said, the installation of the transmitters on the telecommunications company’s masts was to ensure wider coverage for the radio. The Federal Director of Public Prosecutions, Mr. Mohammed Diri, who signed the fresh charges, the case summary and other processes accompanying them on behalf of the government, alleged that Nwawuisi installed the transmitters on MTN masts “on request by an IPOB member, Chidibere Onwudiwe.” Mohammed Diri added that, “The 3rd defendant (Nwawuisi), a Field Maintenance Engineer, charged with the responsibility of maintaining MTN masts in Enugu State, was also arrested in the course of the investigation. The accusations is contained in a Breakdown of the six new count charge of Treason levelled against the director of Radio Biafra Mr Nnamdi Kanu at the Federal High Court in Abuja. Nnamdi Kanu was arrested last October in a hotel by men of the Department of State Security Services and has been on detention at the DSS facilities in Abuja
