Israeli customs seize 4,000 Palestinian stone-throwing dolls designed to 'incite' children to violence

The consignment was found smuggled alongside a consignment of plastic goods, clothes and rugs arriving at the port of Haifa.
The stone-wielding stuffed toys wearing scarves the colour of the Palestinian flag had their faces covered with a headdress inscribed with the words "Jerusalem is ours” and “Jerusalem, here we come”.
Israeli authorities claim the dolls were destined for Palestinian children to encourage them to pelt civilians and soldiers with rocks.
Israel’s Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely said: “These dolls were making their way to the Palestinian Authority with one clear purpose.
“And that was to poison the minds of innocent children.”
